Family sues OpenAI, alleging ChatGPT advice led to woman's death
The parents of Bowen Wan, a 31-year-old engineer, filed a lawsuit in California against OpenAI and its chief executive, alleging ChatGPT advised her to taper epilepsy medication. She died suddenly at home in February.
